Bont Faen Women's Institute are appealing for help in locating sentimental items that are missing.

The important items include a green tablecloth, over seventy years old, with the Country Crest of Bont Faen embroidered on it.

This tablecloth is used to cover the Committee Table during meetings in The Lesser Hall, Bont Faen WI President Sue Bradshaw Jones explained.

"It means a lot to W.I. members , especially those who were founder members of of Bont Faen," she explained.

"It previously belonged to Llandow WI and when that closed it passed to members who founded our Institute."

Also missing is a small handbell, usually stored with the tablecloth in a downstairs cupboard in the recess near the ladies toilet.

The items are nowhere to be found after the Town Hall was closed due to the pandemic.

Bont Faen WI are appealing to other local organisations using the Town Hall and storing items downstairs, to check if their box has been moved or taken by mistake.
