Garden waste collections will start again for Cowbridge and the surrounding areas from next week.

The service will recommence in the week starting Monday 13 April 2020.

The Vale Council said: ''If possible, please store any garden waste in your garden until collections begin.''

This follows the announcement that garden waste would be paused temporarily due to staff shortages amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Black bins and recycling were prioritised.

The improved weather and social isolation mean that more people will be pottering about in their gardens and now they will be able to dispose of their garden waste again.
