"We can't wait!" - Local pubs and restaurants prepare to reopen
With less than a week until cafés, pubs and restaurants can reopen to serve customers outside, venues around Cowbridge are preparing for the big day.
In November, hospitality businesses were allowed to operate with limits on how many people could dine as a group, curfews and then alcohol sales.
How are local businesses feeling about the upcoming changes?
At 1 Town Hall Square, the team are busy preparing for Monday's relaxing of restrictions.
"We really can't wait!" manager Jack Davies told Nub News.
"In anticipation of things, we've been giving our courtyard a big spring clean and are installing a brand-new retractable roof over it, allowing the space to become 'all-weather'.
"The courtyard will be open from 2pm daily once we can reopen, with all of the rules and social distancing in place.
"No bookings, no apps, (and sadly no darts either, for now) everything will be just the same as before; table service via our doorbell system.
"We really can't wait to welcome everyone back for a crisp, cold pint."
At The Bear Hotel, Stephanie Hobrow said preparations were going well.
"It seems everyone can't wait to come out again next week, we are looking really busy," she said.
"We've completely transformed the courtyard again, the cube is all ready to go and we are adding more tables and bench seating around the outside, it's looking like a perfect little sun trap!"
The Bush Inn in St Hilary is reopening on Wednesday 28 April.
"We've been very busy constructing our outdoor covered dining areas and our new menu (most of the Bush Inn favourites but with a few new surprises!" said the team on social media.
"Our back garden has had a full makeover, and will be heated and lit for you to enjoy a crisp glass of Sauvignon blanc, one of our wood fired sourdough pizzas from our vintage caravan or something tasty from our updated menu!"
