Cowbridge Coronavirus: New figures from Public Health Wales show Vale of Glamorgan cases

Public Health Wales have released new figures, breaking down the number of coronavirus cases across the Vale of Glamorgan into local areas.

In the latest seven day rolling figures running from the 11th to 17th October, a total of 61 cases have been reported by Public Health Wales across the county.

A total of 1,148 new cases were reported across Wales by Public Health Wales on Tuesday 20 October.

These figures show the number of cases in each area and the total number of cases per 100,000 population.

Cowbridge: 5 cases / 77.6 per 100,000.

Llantwit Major: 4 cases / 44.6 per 100,000.

Ogmore-by-sea & Llandow: 9 cases / 149 per 100,000.

Llantwit Major: 4 cases / 44.6 per 100,000.

Rhoose & Airport: 5 cases / 42.0 per 100,000.

Peterson-super-Ely & Wenvoe: 7 cases / 91.8 per 100,000.

Barry Island: 4 cases / 41.00 per 100,000.

Barry Dyfan & Iltydd: 0 - 2 cases / less than 37 per 100,000.

Gibbonsdown: 0 - 2 cases / less than 20 per 100,000

Barry West: 0 - 2 cases / less than 22 per 100,000.

Barry East: 0 - 2 cases / less than 18 per 100,000.

Dinas Powys: 3 cases / 37.3 per 100,000.

Lower Penarth & Sully: 6 cases / 57.2 per 100,000.

Penarth: 0 - 2 cases / less than 19 per 100,000.

Llandough & Cogan: 5 / 56.3 per 100,000.
