Families across Cowbridge and the Vale are being encouraged to join in the "festive fun" this Saturday 17th December, by taking part in the Cowbridge Elf Trail.
The Elf trail will run between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Cowbridge High Street with an entry fee of £2.
Over twenty local traders have signed up to the Elf Trail which encourages participants to visit these traders and fins an Elf hidden somewhere inside each shop. These Elves conceal a hidden letter which are to be collected to spell out a Christmas phrase to enter a prize draw to win a "spectacular" prize, and extra prizes will be given for the best festive fancy dress.
Participants should go to Awesome Wales at 44 High Street to pick up trail maps and treat bags before heading off on the trail.
All treats are vegan, gluten free, nut free and plastic free.
A spokesperson from Awesome Wales says:
"Join the fun at the Cowbridge Elf Trail. Pop on your most festive outfit and follow the map to pick up a yummy treat at over twenty venues across town.
"The storeholders in Cowbridge Town Centre have been busy decorating their shops and they would love to share the festive fun with you can your family.
"On Saturday 17 December join hundreds of other families in our Elf Trail (elf outfits encouraged but optional!), it's a great way to kick start the Christmas spirit and pick up a few gift ideas on the way too!
"Plus, collect the hidden letter in each store to spell out the Christmas phrase and enter our prize draw to win a spectacular prize, and extra prizes for the best festive fancy dress.
"Head to Awesome Wales at 44 High Street to pick up your maps and treat bags, then you're all set to find the elves and collect your treats."
