Cowbridge Nub News aims to support our community - promoting shops, businesses, artists, charities, clubs and sports groups.

So, whenever a new one arrives, we showcase it in a feature called "Nub News Introducing...".

Today, we bring you Cortile Coffee Store, one of the latest businesses to join Cowbridge's unique high street

Run by Sara Langford and her partner Richard Metcalfe, Cortile Coffee offers coffee machine brands, independent hand roasted specialty coffee, fine loose-leaf teas, high end brewing equipment and teaware.

They began as a coffee bar in Pontypridd's Market Quarter before naturally developed into a tea and coffee merchant providing a full range of options for domestic and retail customers.

Last Saturday, Sara and Richard opened their new Cowbridge venue, located between King Fox and Filco.

"Right now, we're on a short-term lease, but we're hoping it develops into something more permanent," said Sara.

"Cowbridge is a special town to have a shop in."

With shelves of coffee beans from around the globe and what seems like every type of tea from oolongs to infusions, the shop truly has something for everyone.

There's even a special Cowbridge Earl Grey blend…

"We can grind the coffee beans in store for you," explained Sara.

"Customers can see the date on the packet and then choose how finely or coarsely they want it ground.

"We'll do that here in the shop and reseal it, so you know that it's fresh."

For those perhaps overwhelmed by choice, never fear! Handy guides throughout the shop help even those with limited tea and coffee knowledge find the perfect hot drink.

Cortile Coffee also stocks coffee machines and grinders, including brands such as Gaggia and Iberital, for retail and domestic customers alike.
