FFT is an industry-leading education technology company (non-profit) with 90 staff working from home or at our offices in Cardiff, London or Middlesbrough. Using cutting edge technology, FFT provides an education analytics platform to 13,000 schools in the UK and schools in 40 countries around the world. We have a strong, trusted brand with schools and our analytics services helps school leaders and teachers to analyse pupil assessment data, benchmark school performance, support school improvement and ensure that every pupil achieves the very best education outcomes.

We are looking for enthusiastic and confident people to join our growing Sales teams. The roles are ideally suited to individuals with a minimum of 1 years' sales experience and who are passionate about providing excellent service to customers. FFT provides online data analysis tools to schools, multi academy trusts and local authorities in England, Wales and beyond. You will be responsible for selling and promoting FFT Aspire products, encouraging adoption and identifying opportunities for further engagement. This opportunity offers office working in Cowbridge, home based working or a hybrid of both.

Working within either the School Sales team or the Academy Trust Sales team you will be responsible for:

• Selling FFT Aspire products to potential customers using a variety of media

• Profiling potential customers and managing leads

• Managing the sales pipeline through the sales process life cycle

• Providing online demos of the FFT Aspire product suite

• Producing quotes and contracts, and processing successful sales orders using our CRM system

• Collaborating with other FFT Teams to achieve the best outcome for the customer

• Developing effective relationships and communication channels with clients

• Working with the team to achieve personal, team and company objectives

Skills, knowledge & experience

Essential:

• One year plus experience in a sales role

• Excellent customer service skills

• Good written English

• Confident in the use of IT (MS office suite)

• Ability to present information to others using a variety of media (telephone, online, face to face)

• Team player

• Experience of negotiation and/or working with senior decision makers

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

Desirable:

• Knowledge of English/Welsh education system

• Experience of using Salesforce CRM

• Experience of account management/customer care

• Good analytical and problem solving skills

• An understanding of marketing and sales principles

Bonus:

• Experience of working/volunteering within the school sector

• Experience of using data analysis tools

• Knowledge of school finance or multi academy trusts

A full time position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Options for part time or term time only working are available, please indicate your preference on your application.

£18,000 to £24,000 p.a. FTE depending upon experience, plus uncapped monthly sales commission based on personal and company targets, plus a generous benefits package.
