A pre-application notice has been issued for plans to build 105 new homes at the greenfield site west of Windmill Lane in Cowbridge.

Redrow Homes (South Wales) Ltd is putting together a planning application to build the homes, which would also include affordable housing (40% in line with council standards) as well as a children's play area, landscaping, open space, and drainage and associated highway infrastructure on the site that is approximately 10 acres in size.

Council regulations mean 40% of the proposed homes will be affordable housing. (Image credit: Steve Pearce)

Improved cycling and pedestrian highways and upgraded car access from St Athan Road are also included in the planning application.
