Cantemus Chamber Choir is bringing seasonal cheer to Cowbridge with a creative alternative to the singing ban due to Coronavirus.
In association with the Cowbridge Chamber of Trade and local retailers, the choir has organised QRristmas carol trail around town.

Cowbridge Chamber of Trade is running a weekly prize draw for shoppers in the town, with £30 cash to be won each Saturday before Christmas.
To enter, spend £30 in any independent store or restaurant in Cowbridge and bring your receipt as proof of purchase with your name and phone number attached to Leila Thornton in King Fox.

Commemorations of Iolo Morgannwg in Cowbridge have been reviewed in a Welsh Government report into public monuments, street and place names associated with the slave trade and British Empire.
The audit specified Iolo Morgannwg, whose real name was Edward Williams, as a figure to investigate because of his inheritance from his brother's sugar plantation, while acknowledging that Edwards campaigned against slavery.
COWBRIDGE Rotary Club have published calendar featuring images from across Wales to raise money.
The 2021 calendar features the winning entries of 12 different themes, such as 'On the coast', 'In the garden' and 'Life in lockdown'.
Cowbridge Library have organised an 'Angel Treasure Trail' for residents to follow around town.
There are ten angels in total to find hidden in shop windows, around the library area and the Old Hall Gardens. Each angel has a name paired with it.

With 4.9% increase in Council tax likely to be proposed for Vale Residents and the worst recession in three centuries on our doorstep, the question of value for money has been raised by cyclists, walkers, environmental champions and others who feel the Vale of Glamorgan Council and Welsh Government should not be spending public money on a new road from M4 to A48.
A large number of objections to the road, captured by Vale Communities For Future Generations, have cited serious and widespread concern that in the midst of a pandemic and recession, the increasing millions of pounds that it would cost to build the road would be better spent elsewhere.
