The Vale of Glamorgan Council has joined a national initiative to clamp down on unsuitable taxi drivers.
From now on, the Council will use guidance from the Institute of Licensing to decide whether someone should be allowed to work as a Hackney carriage or private hire driver in the County.
Two pet pygmy kids were taken from the back garden of a family from Bonvilston.

Wales Air Ambulance service will be joining the 18 other regional charities in recognising National Air Ambulance Week from Monday.
It is an opportunity for air ambulance charities to highlight their life-saving contribution while thanking the public who keep the helicopters flying.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council has backed a plea made by the Safer Vale Partnership for residents to report instances of off-road vehicles being used in the community.
This follows a number of complaints regarding the use of off-road bikes and quad bikes, with particular concern for young children sat on the laps of drivers.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council has been ranked as the top performing local authority in Wales for the fifth year in a row.

Two members from Cowbridge Netball Club have been chosen to represent Wales in the Under 21 squad for the upcoming 2019 Netball Europe Under 21 Championships in Worcester on 4-6 October.
