Along with Towns all around the country, Cowbridge will be lighting a beacon at 9.45pm on Thursday 2nd June to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The programme of events is: 7.00pm Cowbridge Rugby Club gates open. Free entry. Bar and food stalls open.

7.45pm - 8.15pm Rock Choir perform.

8.15pm Competition winners announced and presented with prizes.

8.25pm - 8.45pm Stage Door 1 perform.

8.55pm - 9.10pm Stagecoach Theatre Arts perform.

9.15pm - 9.25pm Community singing led by Town Crier.

9.35pm Bagpipe music "Diu Regnare"

9.40pm Bugler, Charlotte Leeke, will play "Majesty"

9.45pm Lighting of the Beacon
