THE next Cowbridge U3A History Group Meeting will be held in the Lesser Hall at 10am on Thursday, 16 April.
Doors open at 930am.
The speaker is John Matheson ( U3A member) and his presentation will be on The Appin Murder, an assassination in 1752 that shocked the nation and inspired Robert Louis Stevenson to write Kidnapped.
Members of the public are welcome as day members on payment of a small charge, £2.
