A replica of the Anglo-Saxon helmet found at Sutton Hoo, Suffolk

The next Cowbridge U3A History Group meeting will be held in the Lesser Hall, Cowbridge at 10am on Thursday, 19 June.

The talk will be "What Lies Beneath: Anglo-Saxon Burial Mounds" by Kishli Laister.

It will share insights into Anglo-Saxon society and culture gained from nso- called "princely burials" including Sutton Hoo.

Kishli has been teaching courses on Medieval History for over twenty years.

Visitors are welcome on payment of a small charge, £2
