As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor with expertise in New Build, Major Refurbishment, Planned Maintenance, and Insurance Claims Repairs to oversee cost management, procurement, and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects.
  • Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
  • Procuring materials, subcontractors, and services in line with project requirements and budget constraints.
  • Monitoring project costs, cash flow, and expenditure, and providing accurate financial reports.
  • Assessing variations, valuing work done, and negotiating final accounts.
  • Collaborating with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
  • Providing expert advice on contractual matters and resolving disputes as they arise.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on New Build, Major Refurbishment, Planned Maintenance, and Insurance Claims Repairs projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Excel, MS Project, and industry-specific quantity surveying tools.
