A leading provider of scaffolding services and access equipment, coating and painting, cleaning, insulation and fireproofing services to some of the UK s largest industrial clients.

Offering a hands-on, can-do , technical approach to all projects from the simplest, to the most complex and high profile multi-product projects. JOB PURPOSE

As Site Manager, your role will be to co-ordinate people and process to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time in full and produce the desired result for the business and the Client. You will be the go-to person for everything involving any given project s organisation and timeline. Specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Project Management:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Operations Management:

  • Ensuring that communication between departments / functions is ongoing and utilised to maintain an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Support the Company in operational planning and ensuring the business is adequately resourced.
  • Training of staff and management to ensure that everyone is performing adequately in their role.
  • Providing a leadership support function to teams and motivating staff to achieve production goals.
  • Managing budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning process.
  • Act as a liaison to senior management and Directors to keep them up to date with operational matters.
  • Ensuring key performance indicators are in place and production targets are met.

Point of Contact:

  • Foster positive customer relationships and resolve any customer issues arising on site. Manage customer expectations. Communicate regularly with customers and inform of potential delays to programmes.
  • Ensure all works are completed to expected standard and as per the customer requirements prior to hand-over.
  • Support and promote a team culture and company values.
  • To drive Health and Safety towards accreditation to ISO 18001/45001

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Hands-on management experience working on complex industrial sites.
  • Experience working with scaffolding teams.
  • Strong appreciation for site safety standards.
  • Based local to site in South Wales.

Please note: this is a 12 month PAYE position .
