PROSPERO TEACHING

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero are looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in either Education or Health care and have experience supporting children with a variety of additional learning needs including SEMH & challenging behaviour. Candidates must be proactive and attentive within this role and able to take initiative.

This role is long term and will start ASAP and will continue until the end of the Academic year, with the likelihood of being extended in to the next academic year. This is based solely within school and for the hours of 8:30-3:30.

CONTRACT DETAILS Location - Cardiff Position - SEMH Teaching Assistant Type of work - SEMH Teaching Assistant Contract or position start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - On Going Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - £84.69 daily. Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Education Workforce Council (EWC) Membership Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can assist!)

Experience as a support worker or teaching assistant

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references
