Storm Dennis Update: Cowbridge Farmers Market Will go Ahead

By The Editor

14th Feb 2020 | Local News

Storm Dennis is heading for Cowbridge this weekend and yellow weather warnings have been announced for wind and rain. Despite this, the farmers market will still go ahead.

In an announcement to their subscribers, the market said: ''With storm Dennis forecast to cause havoc over the weekend, people are asking will the market still be on.

''We will be there, but if the wind gusts are forecast to be too strong we may not have stalls up, but producers will be there doing their best to keep you supplied with your great local produce.

''Fingers crossed it will not be too wild, the forecast does seem to be improving as time goes on, and at the moment Saturday morning looks as if it is not going to be too bad.

''Below is the list of who is booked on to attend on Saturday, but please excuse us if a few are missing on the morning.

''Something some of you may not be aware of is that most of our producers do now take card payments, technology has moved on making this service accessible to us, and making your shopping experience easier.''
