Western Vale Family Practice no longer offering eConsult service

Western Vale Family Practice is no longer offering e-consultations to patients.

The doctors surgery has reviewed its services, and decided that the eConsult programme would not support its new approach.

"As we emerge from the Covid pandemic, the Practice is currently planning how we effectively provide urgent and non urgent, advice and support to our patients," read a social media post.

"We want to offer:

- an increased number of face to face appointments across our clinical team (where appropriate to do so)

-provide patients the opportunity to pre-book non urgent appointments with clinicians in an appropriate time-frame

- provide continuity of care.

"This requires a review of our current appointment system and we do not feel that eConsult would effectively support this approach.

"We aim to ensure that our website www.cowbridgedoctors.com can be utilised effectively for non urgent requests and to submit information regarding your ongoing health."
