Using THIS online tool, Nub News is able to tell you who Cowbridge's most wikipedia'd person is since records began in June 2015... and who came close.

Without further ado, here's our list.

Drum roll please...

Sir Anthony Hopkins

Are you surprised this former Cowbridge Grammar School pupil topped the list? Sir Anthony once said in an interview that he thought he was stupid because he was a "poor learner".

He's gone on to huge success, and his page has been viewed a whopping 13,089,768 times.

Anneka Rice

She might be known for racing about on Treasure Hunt, but Cowbridge-born Anneka Rice doesn't look set to catch up with Sir Anthony any time soon. She's second on our list with 1,574,734 page views.

But Anneka does like a challenge, so maybe one day she will…

The Automatic

Cowbridge Comprehensive School pupils Rob Hawkins, James Martin, and Iwan Griffiths formed this rock band as teenagers, with Paul Mullen finishing the line-up.

The group released three albums between 1998 and 2010, and have racked up 187,037 Wikipedia page views.

Ieuan Evans

As well as 72,407 Wiki hits, the former rugby union wing is also the is the fourth highest try scorer for Wales and once held the record for the most Wales caps as captain with 28 until 2012.

Ieuan's son Cai is also an impressive player, coming up through Cowbridge Comprehensive School and Cowbridge RFC.

Nicky Piper

Former super middleweight and light heavyweight boxer Nicky Piper now calls Cowbridge home, and has been Wikipedia'd 65,016 times.

Perhaps more impressive are his punches, having won 26 out of 33 fights, or even his curry-making skills, as in 2018 he won a competition judged by The Shampan's Ashi Aravind with his lamb korma!
