Christmas coffee morning hosted by the Mayor of Cowbridge raises hundreds of pounds for Cancer Research Wales.

The Mayor of Cowbridge (Ancient Borough) with Llanblethian Town Council Cllr Siân Vaughan and her consort Rob Vaughan raised hosted the charity Christmas coffee morning in the Mayor's Parlour Cowbridge Town Hall on Saturday December 11.

The Mayor was delighted to be joined by three previous Mayors including Cllr Gwen Baty BEM, Peter Knap and Cllr Alec Trousdell, as well as the current Deputy Mayor and Mayoress Cllr John Andrew and Anna Andrew.

A grand total of £270 was raised in aid of Cancer Research Wales. Thank you to all those who attended, wore Christmas jumpers, donated money in absence, donated raffle prizes and made cakes.

The next coffee morning will be on Saturday February 5, 2022, if Coronavirus regulations allow.
