Cowbridge Country Market will host its Autumn Market in the Lesser Hall at Cowbridge Town Hall on Friday 7th October between 9am and 11.30am.

The co-operative of local producers provides high quality, value for money baked goods, preserves, plants, flowers, fresh produce, eggs, breads and craft items.

Local residents are encouraged to visit the Autumn market to find the freshest, locally grown goods. Tea, coffee and cakes will also be available to purchase.

One of the organisers, Carol James says:

"We are excited to mark the change in the season and will be celebrating autumn this week at our Market.
"Not only will the change in the weather provide some relief from the harsh summer, but it also means we are entering one of the best and most versatile seasons for fresh produce.
"Think damson jam, blackberry and nectarine jam, bramble jelly (delicious with a croissant), yellow tomato and basil jam, this season's honey, chutneys galore as well as glorious cakes and tarts made with all the season's best ingredients.
"Don't forget that Christmas isn't far away, so get ahead by buying gifts from our talented crafters- jewellery, beautifully sewn items, and handmade cards.
"Join us on Friday October 7th in the Lesser Hall."
