South Wales Police is recruiting for Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) to help tackle crime in the region.

In a Facebook post published on August 4, South Wales Police said: "PCSOs are a vital link between the community and the police to help make sure everyone has the support they need.

"As a PCSO you will conduct patrols, provide crime prevention advice and engage with communities to reduce crime across South Wales.

"You won't work bank holidays or night shifts, and part-time opportunities are available."

Applicants must send their applications by August 31, 2022 – click here to make a start.

More information about the day-to-day activities of a PCSO can be found here.
