Cowbridge businesses invited to enter South Wales Business Awards 2022

The South Wales Business Awards has announced that the application process for this year's ceremony is now open. 

Returning after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the South Wales Business Awards will be back to recognise and celebrate the best of Welsh business and has done so since its inception in 2008. 

This year's awards will take place on Friday, September 30 at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff. Sara Edwards, one of Welsh television and radio's most popular presenters, is once again set to resume hosting duties.  

The categories for this year's applications are:  

Young Entrepreneur of the Year  

Best New Start-up  

Retail & Tourism Business of the Year  

Female Entrepreneur of the Year  

Business Services Business of the Year  

Technological & Innovative Business of the Year  

South Wales Business of the Year 2022 (Drawn from winners of each category)  

Wesley Skene, the founder of the South Wales Business Awards, said: "Over the years, the awards have seen some truly magnificent Welsh businesses and achievements.  

"The thing that stands out the most about the finalists and winners alike, is the stories and people behind these businesses. Wales is a world-class entrepreneurship hub and the last two years have only confirmed what we knew.  

"Welsh businesses are the most resilient, creative, and determined. It's a privilege to be able to share these stories with the rest of Wales."  

The closing date for applications is Friday, September 2, 2022, with nominations announced on Monday, September 5.
