The deadline for the next round of applicants for the Mayor's Foundation Grant Fund is fast approaching.

Cowbridge groups can apply for grants between £100 and £250 to help support the work of voluntary and charitable organisations within the Vale of Glamorgan.

Applications are encouraged from those whose initiatives support the Council's vision of "strong communities with a bright future."

The Grant Fund has previously been very successful and the last round of applications were awarded to organisations such as Cylch Meithrin, Rhoose Guides, Penmark Village Hall and Vale Surf Club.

Cllr Susan Lloyd-Selby, mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan, said: "The past two years have been very challenging for everybody. Community groups, voluntary and charitable organisations have become more important and working harder than ever.

"The last round of applications for the fund were hugely successful and I would therefore like to encourage all who are eligible to apply for a share of the fund to help support and enhance their invaluable work."

This round of applications for the Mayor's Foundation Grant Fund closes on September 1, 2022.

Applicants wishing to apply for funding will need to download the application form on the website and return it to [email protected]
