Throughout the month of May, Taylor Wimpey South Wales is running a community chest competition in Cowbridge, offering the chance for a local good cause to win a £1000 grand prize.
The housebuilder, which has been building new homes at the Clare Garden Village development on Llantwit Major Road over the last six years, is inviting people living in and around Cowbridge to nominate local groups, organisations, or individuals to receive a helping hand.
All nominations will need to be received by midnight on Sunday 27th May 2024. Taylor Wimpey will then select one group, organisation or individual to receive the £1000 donation.
Danielle Heard, Sales and Customer Service Director at Taylor Wimpey South Wales, said: "Community groups and local charities rely heavily on the support they receive. We've worked with a number of good causes around Cowbridge since we started building at Clare Garden Village, and it's been great to see how our donations have helped local people so far.
"We're therefore delighted to continue our support with our community chest campaign. If you know of a worthy cause in your area, we would love to hear about them."
The latest community chest embodies Taylor Wimpey South Wales' commitment to more than just constructing homes. The company is dedicated to building communities, supporting local initiatives, and making a meaningful impact where it matters most. Over the years the housebuilder has made donations to Ysgol lolo Morganwg and Y Bont Faen Primary Schools and Cowbridge RFC.
