Cowbridge Farmers' Market will feature in a BBC show on Monday 25 January.

The Farmers' Country Showdown will be broadcast at 3:45pm on BBC One, and will follow two local producers: Elwyn and Ann-Sophie with their range of vegetables and charcuterie-makers Liz and Andrew of Baker's Pig.

The farmers' market was filmed in October, said Myfanwy Edwards.

"We were the very last one filmed for this series," she said.

"A third of the show will be about each producer, and then a third will be about being in the market and talking to customers."

The series celebrates inspirational farming families around the UK and the rural events where they showcase their hard work as they try to win top prizes.
