A Cowbridge lawyer is helping online businesses get savvy about the legal protection they need with the release of her new book.

Joanne Fisher, 42, has written Law for Online Entrepreneurs as an easy-to-understand legal handbook, after seeing an influx of clients taking their businesses online following the pandemic.

With more people than ever starting their own ventures, Joanne emphasises how important it is to get the right legal protection for future success.

A busy working mum of four, she is also passionate about providing as much security for her clients as possible.

The book aims to take entrepreneurs from unknown to unstoppable, safe in the knowledge that steps have been taken to secure their businesses and they won't stand for copycats.

But with many believing that anything legal is daunting, Joanne uses her fifteen years of experience as both a commercial and corporate lawyer, to break things down in easy-to-understand steps.

Through the book, Joanne helps entrepreneurs ensure their businesses are watertight legally, providing sound advice for any transactions and agreements.

She knows that at some point every company will hit a bump in the road that has legal implications. In these moments, the book is there to provide you with the additional know-how and guidance to navigate you through any issues.

She said: "The book is a vital tool for any online business owner who wants to get savvy about protecting their business as much as possible.

"Law and legal protection really don't need to be this big scary thing, together we can make them your comfort blanket so you can grow your business and become as successful as you want to be."

The book is designed to give online business owners total clarity and peace of mind because they have weighed up the risks that come with running an online business.

Through nine chapters, it explores how to get started, what to do to protect your reputation and how to successfully build a team.

Law for Online Entrepreneurs is published by Authors and Co and is available now on Amazon.
