The Mayor of Cowbridge (Ancient Borough) with Llanblethian Town Council Cllr Siân Vaughan and her consort, Rob Vaughan, held a charity coffee morning on February 5 in aid of Cancer Research Wales.

The Mayor's parlour turned red to support Wales in their fight to defend the championship title at the start of the Six Nations match against Ireland.

A total of £185 was raised for the charity. Cllr Siân Vaughan said, "Thank you to Cllr Gwen Baty BEM and Cllr Beverly Tonkin for the lovely homemade cakes they made for the event and hanks are also due to those that provided raffle prizes and attended the coffee morning."

The next coffee morning is due to take place on March 5, 2022 from 10.30am – 12 noon and everyone is welcome to attend.
