Cowbridge mayor's coffee morning raises £315 for cancer charity
A coffee morning hosted on Saturday, April 2 by Cllr Siân Vaughan and her consort Rob Vaughan raised £315 for Cancer Research Wales.
Held in the mayor's parlour, Cllr Vaughn was very pleased to welcome the mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan, Cllr Jayne Norman, and four former Cowbridge mayors.
A fantastic raffle took place with most people winning prizes such as gin, wine, Easter eggs, chocolates, toiletries, and flowers.
Delicious homemade cakes were made by friends and family for the event.
Thank you to everyone that donated raffle prizes and supported the coffee morning.
The previous coffee morning on March 5 raised £185 for Cancer Research Wales.
