Cowbridge Museum is holding a Dinosaurs and Fossils Day on Saturday 17th September from 10-4.

The day will consist of a mini exhibition on Dinosaurs and Fossils. It will include activities aimed at families and anyone interested in the topic.

Visitors can examine, explore and handle an assortment of fossils and meteorites, decide if an item came from a Dinosaur or not, find out which Dinosaurs were carnivores or herbivores, and put together a plastic dinosaur skeleton.

This is the 5th in a series of mini exhibition activity days. The museum, situated in Cowbridge Town Hall, is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month with the activity days being on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

A spokesperson for the museum said:

"Visitors can answer questions such as how big was a stegosaurus brain and how long was the largest millipede that ever lived?
"There is no need to book as we operate drop-in sessions. We hope that you will be able to join us on the day."

Entry to the mini exhibition and activity day and museum is free.
