Arboreal, a cafe-kitchen-bar, has been recognised in the 2020 Michelin Guide for its fifth consecutive year.

They celebrated this success in a statement on their social media. It said: ''Us and the team are celebrating the news of Arboreal being included in the 2020 Michelin Guide.

''What an honour, thank you. This is our 7th consecutive year.

''We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supports us as an independent, without you we wouldn't still be here.

''A huge thanks to our talented kitchen team, our amazing front of house staff and my brother who puts his heart and soul into the place.

''A huge thanks to everyone.''

Arboreal were awarded with the Michelin Plate status.

Places that are awarded with this are, in fact, judged by the same five criteria used for starred and Bib Gourmand restaurants, and are recognized as establishments serving good food.

The restaurant Michelin Plate is the symbol for those restaurants that have neither a star nor a Bib Gourmand.

For restaurants, being in the selection is the sign of very good food, and the Michelin Plate is the symbol for that.
