An interactive Christmas experience, which was set up last year in response to COVID19, is returning to the Vale of Glamorgan this year following five-star reviews.

The Christmas Visit is partnering with Cobbles Kitchen in Ogmore-By-Sea for a truly magical Christmas experience. The event uses professionally trained actors for an enchanting theatrical experience full of rich story-telling and magical wonderment.

Taking bookings from 4th – 24th December, families can either book on to a Breakfast or Afternoon Tea performance, following which Father Christmas and Snowflake the elf will surprise and delight children with a personalised table visit.

The Christmas Visit was set up last year in response to the number of Christmas events that were cancelled due to COVID19 and the amount of talented actors out of work because of the pandemic. Professional actors toured south Wales to perform the theatrical Christmas experience on the doorsteps of homes, much to the delight of families.

"This was without doubt the most special, memorable and magical Santa experience we have ever seen. We were blown away by the talent, personal touches and enthusiasm. It was just wonderful thank you so, so much"

"Wow! Just Wow! What can I say? The Christmas Visit was just amazing. Truly magical!"

On returning this year, director Laura Brind, said: "We were blown away with the response we got last year. It proved to be a magical and memorable experience for the whole family at a time of so much uncertainty.

"With live events returning, we decided to partner with Cobbles Kitchen to once again spread some Christmas magic. Not only can families enjoy our magical performance, but they can also enjoy delicious festive food from Cobbles."

"We can't wait to surprise and delight children from south Wales once again this year when our shows get underway."

Chloe Francis-Oakley, owner of Cobbles Kitchen, said: "We had The Christmas Visit to our home last year and our children were totally mesmerised from start to finish. It was such a memorable experience and one that we'll never forget. I'm delighted to be partnering with them this year to bring some Christmas magic to Cobbles."
