Waitrose in Cowbridge is re-instating its 'free' coffee in store.

Members of the 'myWaitrose' loyalty scheme will be able to get a free coffee when they make a purchase in store as the supermarket has announced it will bring back the popular deal.

The scheme relaunched on 7 November and customers will need to bring their own cup to avoid being charged £4 for a reusable one.

Waitrose has joined forces with Caffé Nero to relaunch the scheme, which means the coffee supplied will be made with beans from the Nero Roasting Company.

The free coffees include the Americano, Cappuccino, Latte or tea.

Customers will need to pay extra for other drinks, though they don't need to pay any more for milk alternatives, such as oat milk.

To encourage sustainability, customers will need to bring their own cup. If they forget they can purchase a Waitrose reusable cup for roughly £4. Paper coffee cups will not be provided.

Non-myWaitrose members cannot get the offer and neither can those who are only signed up to Caffé Nero's reward scheme.

As part of the relaunch, between 7 and 30 November, myWaitrose members will also get 20% off Caffè Nero's 'Coffee at Home' products in store and on Waitrose.com, which will be automatically applied when customers scan their myWaitrose card.

Sign up to myWaitrose, for free, to benefit.
