An exhibition by the Wick Group of Artists will come to an end on March 2 after almost a one-month long residency at Old Hall.

During the month of February, Wick Group of Artists have displayed their artwork in Cowbridge, which has attracted more than 250 visitors.

The exhibition also had visits from Alun Cairns, Conservative MP for Vale of Glamorgan and Jane Hutt MS, minister for Social Justice.

Mr Cairns said: "It is truly fantastic to see such an amazing selection of art. I pay tribute to the group in Wick who are all self-taught!

"I urge that if you are in Cowbridge to pay a visit. It is great to have such an attraction here on the high street. My favourite piece was a brilliant portrait of a chicken – you will agree with me once you see it!"

During the pandemic, the Wick Group of Artists supported each other through an online weekly newsletter that inspired most of the 120 pieces of art on show.

Visitors can also vote for their favourite art pieces before a raffle at the Old Hall exhibition space which will take place on St David's Day at 18:00.

The next exhibition will be work from David March between March 4 and March 31.
