A well-known tattooist has been given permission to set up shop in Cowbridge.
Jenner Kerr, who is currently based in Stoke-on-Trent applied for planning permission last year to take over the currently vacant property at 29B, Cowbridge High Street.
The application states that it would turn a current office space into a private appointment tattoo clinic and art gallery.
It outlines that: ''There will be no access to these premises
for the general public as all appointments are booked in advance for one client per day.'' On a post on Facebook, she said: ''I have plans for 2020 once I've relocated, which will happen this year! I'm only thinking positive thoughts about this change now.'' So, it looks like the artist will be making the move to Cowbridge soon. Jenna Kerr is very popular on social media with 242,000 followers on Instagram and 159,000 on Facebook. She receives so many enquiries that her books are currently closed for appointments until the later winter months of 2019. Her 'About' section on her website states: ''She has been tattooing for 10 years and is best known for her unique feminine tattoo designs featuring multi-faceted jewels. ''Her love of art nouveau and baroque filigree also feature heavily in her pieces. ''The combination of expertly crafted gemstones and ornamental accents result in tattoos that appear to shine and sparkle. ''Jenna's availability is often limited due to advance bookings - however upcoming dates and guest spots are always advertised via her Instagram and Facebook pages. ''Jenna regularly travels to conventions around the world, her travel plans and booking schedule are also made available via her social media accounts.''
