The programme for Cowbridge Music Festival is due to be released tomorrow.

The event will take place from Friday 1 - Saturday 16 October this year.

In 2020, the festival had to be postponed due to the pandemic, so the patrons and organisers are more excited than ever for this year's event.

Booking is open for Festival Friends and general booking opens tomorrow (21 August).

The festival celebrates the very best of classical, jazz and folk music from across the globe in our picturesque market town.

"This year, to ensure that our audiences feel safe and comfortable, all Festival concerts will be run with social distancing in place," say the organisers.

"To enable this, all concerts will be about 1 hour long, with no interval, and each performance will be given twice, with both concerts sharing an identical programme."

The programme includes a wide range of performances; from brilliant Baroque ensembles, to Romantic masterpieces, and jazz trios, in well-known Cowbridge venues such as Holy Cross Church, the Duke of Wellington and Cowbridge Comprehensive Theatre.
