FORAGE Farm Shop and Kitchen has reopened following a ten-day closure due to Coronavirus.

On Sunday 29 November, a customer of the Forage Farm restaurant on 26 and 27 November tested positive for Covid-19.

The Forage team were forced to close the restaurant and shop in the interest of customer safety, and to thoroughly clean the venue.

The reopening also means that the Christmas Market at the farm can go ahead.

The two-week market will showcase local traders and crafters.

John Homfray, managing director of Penllyn Estate Farm hoped that the market would encourage people to shop local.

"I think people like to know that stuff has a local provenance, and that they're supporting each other," he said.

"Maybe it's something that will last post-Covid.".
