Poppies have been displayed in Cowbridge to commemmorate fallen soliders ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

The Poppy trail stretches along High Street and Eastgate, and has been organised by Royal British Legion Cowbridge for the last five years.

At Arthur John's, wreaths have been displayed in the windows too. These have now been moved to the Town Hall, ready to collect before the invite-only service on Sunday.

In-person collections had to be suspended during the firebreak lockdown.

David Howell, of RBL Cowbridge said collections would resume outside the Town Hall on Monday and Tuesday next week, ahead of Remembrance Day on Wednesday 11 November.
