There's plenty to be down about at the moment, at Nub News we wanted to look on the bright side and find out what you love about Cowbridge.

We feel pretty lucky to be reporting on a such a picturesque town with so many lovely people, great independent businesses, and a rich history.

But what did you think? We asked what you liked about living in Cowbridge – here's what you said:

The people

"The lovely supportive people."

"Definitely the friendly people."

"The community spirit - how everyone helped with replacing the planters outside The Edmondes Arms."

"Community! This is an amazing place to live, the people and the location are fantastic."

The sights

"I live in the centre of town, so I have everything I need/want on my doorstep. Yet within 5 minutes I can be heading into beautiful countryside and coastline beyond. What's not to like?"

"Great network of public footpaths!"

"Fabulous history from prehistoric through Roman to the present day."

"The lovely Physic Garden. Really pretty and educational."

"Absolutely loving the walks!! Would just love to meet new people, can't wait to do that as soon as we can."

The shops and facilities

"We've got the best comprehensive in Wales."

"The Town Hall, museum, and Market Theatre."

"Football, Cricket, Rugby, Tennis, and the skate park."

The events

"The Remembrance Service, Reindeer Parade, the Food festival."

And finally…

"Everything here. We are all very lucky to live here, lockdown has proved that to me."
