This week, we've selected a Children's Residential Support Worker role at Stepping Stones.

"We have full-time opportunities for support workers to join our team in our children's home in the Vale of Glamorgan area. We aim to provide a homely environment where children feel safe, supported and nurtured so if you have a passion for working with children who have not had the easiest start in life and are motivated and passionate enough to want to make a difference, then please get in touch with us.

What we are looking for:

Previous care experience (preferred but not essential)

A willing attitude and a caring and reliable nature

Compassion and empathy

Enthusiasm to promote independence and choice

A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation and resilience.

Good communication skills

22 years of age or older (considered essential to ensure there is an appropriate age gap between the children we support and the staff looking after them).

Full UK manual driving license (essential)
