Llanerch Vineyard, Hensol, has been named the second most 'Instagrammable' attraction of its kind in the UK.

A report by World Of Wine analysed 700 vineyards listed on The Great British Vineyards Guide to find which ones features the most on the social media platform.

Second place was earned by Llanerch Vineyard, a hotel in the Vale that boasts 22 acres of woodlands and vineyards, with more than 5,000 tagged pictures showing the venue in all its glory.

Among those snaps are pictures of HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, who visited last July as part of her role as president of GB Wines.

She visited as part of the hotel's 10-year anniversary celebrations to meet with staff and suppliers, plant a vine and try the Cariad blush wine.

She congratulated owner Ryan Davies on his incredible vineyard, which offers wine tasting and vineyard tour experiences.

The restaurant at Llanerch is award-winning and has an on-site cookery school.

They offer five varieties of their Cariad wine, including the sparkling blush, sparkling brut, dry white, off-dry white and rose.
