The Lamb Flag, in Wick, has revealed they have been awarded a "Blue Ribbon" for "Delicious Dishes" in The Good Food Awards 2022.
Announcing the news on social media, the team shared the good news that they had met the criteria to be awarded the title.
A social media post read:
"Our team have been keeping this a secret for the last couple of weeks until we were allowed to announce.
"After what has been an incredibly stressful year for us so far - we've still managed to keep our standards high and come through with another award - this time we've been awarded; Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes by The Good Food Awards 2022.
"Huge thank you to those that nominated us, voted for us, left great reviews and testimonials for our wonderful team."
Competition for the award was tough, with some 596,140 eating establishments and only 53,885 Gastro-Pub, Inns, Taverns and Public Houses serving food within the UK.
The Good Food Awards recognise the hard-working teams who strive for culinary excellence within their field. Chosen for their food quality, service and value, the prestigious awards are bestowed upon those with high customer ratings and votes and are known as – the Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes.
