Dear readers,

There's been a few times in this role that I've sat down to write an article and not known how to start, but none more so than this piece.

So, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from Cowbridge Nub News, having been offered a new role in Cardiff.

When I joined Nub News over a year ago, I had just completed my training and I was thrilled to be able to jump into local news reporting.

It's been an honour getting to know Cowbridge and the community over this period. I've been fortunate enough to cover a huge range of topics, meet wonderful people and learn lots along the way.

There are so many articles I look back on fondly, but I thought it was worth rewinding to my very first article for Cowbridge Nub News.

To me it encompasses so many things worth celebrating about Cowbridge; recognising the strength of the community and everyone's resilience in the face of restrictions and lockdowns.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Cowbridge Nub News and myself along the way. This is certainly not the end of the site, as we search for the right replacement.
