The Physic Garden is set to reopen next Monday 19 April.
Chair of the Physic Garden marketing group Martyn Hurst previously told Nub News he was expecting to learn when it could reopen after the next review on 22 April.
Mr Hurst explained that the garden is considered a visitor attraction rather than a thoroughfare like the Old Hall Gardens, which is why it remains closed.
However, the Vale of Glamorgan Council has agreed the earlier than expected opening date.
"Following a number of discussions internally it has been agreed that the Physic Garden can now be opened as previously with social distancing notices etc. on April 19th," read a post on the Physic Garden Facebook page.
"The volunteers have been working hard for the past month so it is looking good; these photos taken today.
"The volunteers will be in on Thursday as usual to sell plants, cards etc. Look forward to seeing you next week!"
