Three JCB buckets have been stolen from a farm in Welsh St Donats, say South Wales Police.

The police advise anyone in a rural location to mark any items of value with permanent ink or paint, lock them away and to photographs valuables including any specific markings or serial numbers.

"If anyone has any information regarding this theft which happened overnight between Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 January, please contact us quoting occurrence number *030685," say SWP.

On Friday, SWP also warned of drones being flown over farms to scout potential items to steal, after similar occurrences in North Wales.

To report an incident call 101, send South Wales Police a direct message on social media or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.
