The 2020 Reindeer Parade could not take place this year, so take a look back with Nub News at last year's event.

Santa and his reindeer travelled down Cowbridge High Street with former Wales and British Lions captain Gareth Thomas.

That evening Gareth Thomas, along with TV personalities Ruth Wignall, and Lucy and Rhodri Owen, Alun John, of Cowbridge Chamber of Trade and local businesses, and Santa himself, switched on the Christmas lights.

The lights were organised by Kate Thomas, of the Chamber of Trade and the switch-on was followed by fireworks.

Throughout the day there were performances from the Vale Academy of Performing Arts, Chainfam dance group, 2018 X Factor contestant Thomas Pound, musician Peyton Stacey, and singer Luke James.

Elsa and Anna from Frozen also performed, as did Y Bont Faen Primary School choir and Llansannor and Llanharry Primary School Choir.

There were also community Christmas carols.

Thousands flocked to the event on 24 November, which was funded by Cowbridge Community Group, Taylor Wimpey, Churchill Homes, Penllyn Estate, Cowbridge Compost, Robert Lloyd Opticians, NFU insurance, Specsavers and all the members of the Chamber of Trade.
