The Horse & Groom pub on Cowbridge High Street will host a rugby Q&A fundraiser event to raise money for the Ukraine crisis.

Mike Ruddock, Wales Grand Slam-winning coach, Brynmor and Lloyd Williams, father and son scrum-halves for Wales, and Phil Steele, a BBC broadcaster and author, will be at the pub on Wednesday, May 18 from 19:30 to answer questions from guests and tell stories about their careers.

Jayne Wilkinson, The Horse & Groom's company director, told Cowbridge Nub News: "We're really looking forward to having them here. It will be interesting to hear all about their rugby careers while doing our bit for everything that's happening in Ukraine."

The Horse & Groom hosts regular events to bring the community together, including an open-mic night once a month on a Sunday and 'Jive' on the first Thursday of every month.

Tickets are £20 each and can be purchased by calling Jayne on 07764 683442 or you can call Gareth Petty on 07932 947777.
