Siân Vaughan re-elected as Mayor of Cowbridge

Councillor Siân Vaughan has been re-elected as Mayor of Cowbridge (Ancient Borough) with Llanblethian Town Council.

At the AGM on Wednesday 26 May, Cllr Vaughan, who was Mayor last year also, won a majority vote to continue in the role.

She thanked the Council for the re-election:

"I will be working for all of you and for the community to the best of my ability," said Cllr Vaughan.

"That's all I can promise to do, and I assure you that I will be doing that."

Cllr John Andrew was elected as Deputy Mayor. He said: "Thank you councillors for the confidence you've shown in electing me as Deputy Mayor.

"It's an honour which I will discharge to the best of my ability."

Cllr Russell Spencer-Downe was Deputy Mayor for the previous year.
