This year's St Hilary Foragers Produce Market raised an amazing amount of money which resulted in a donation of £1,500 to Ty Hafan Children's Hospice, Sully and the Llanfair Primary School. The PTA ran a spectacular cake stall which raised £500 for school funds.

We were overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our neighbours and friends. There were donations of fruit and vegetables, craft items and cards, jams, chutneys, crumbles and cakes.

Villagers helped with the apple pressing, took a turn at serving on the stalls, assisted with parking and erecting and dismantling the marquee and awning. And we had a fabulous turnout of visitors from the village and further afield who were eager to snap up some delicious goodies from the produce and cake stall and from the local traders and makers who joined us.

We would like to extend a particular vote of thanks to the Brown Family from Beaupre Farm who allowed us to use one of their fields for parking.

And to Herbert R Thomas and DB Francis Central Heating Engineers who sponsored the event

In addition to the £1500 that was raised the Ty Hafan Garden Volunteers established a Go Fund Me page to raise funds for the restoration and maintenance of the hospice gardens and, to date, have raised £595!
