THE SANTA Sleigh route planned for tonight has been cancelled due to poor weather.

Cowbridge Rotary Club had organised for Santa and his elves to travel through Aberthin, Maendy and Trerhyngyll tonight.

Sadly, bad weather conditions have forced the club to postpone this route until Saturday 12 December at 4pm.

The Santa Sleigh began last night. Cowbridge Rotary Club member Michael Long said he was really pleased with the reception.

"It was a joy to see the kids' faces," he said.

A licensed street collection cannot take place this year, so those wanting to support Cowbridge Rotary's hard work to support local and national charities and communities, can via this link .
